linux-libc-dev software package provides Linux Kernel Headers for development, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install linux-libc-dev
linux-libc-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the linux-libc-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep linux-libc-dev *
You will get with linux-libc-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
